Cool “Easter Egg” in Yahoo Webmail

OK this is totally random, but is pretty cool, I’m not sure if anyone else knows this but if you click on the subject button when writing a new email is Yahoo Web Mao; it gives you a random subject - here are a few of them

There are eels in my hovercraft

I served in the military under General Apathy

I Brake for Unicorns

What’s the corkage fee at McDonald’s?

I’d like 600 mirrors please

Did anyone know about this, have I just missed something? Leave a comment and tell me!

Funny… But it can be assilimated to spam mail. Hopefully I don’t use yahho! mail. I don’t like they add advertisment to any sent mail :/

Yes, this was in use since they’ve started rolling out the beta version, if I remember correctly ;-)

As for the ads, just pay $20/year if it bugs you _that_ much. Y! mail is by far more reliable than Gmail/Hotmail and it doesn’t scan your mail, like Gmail (for ad displays).

I don’t really see how this could be abused for spam though. It’s merely a subject, which is not something that has much impact on most spam filtering systems. I also doubt spammers need something like this. Creating random subjects is fairly easy ;-)
