Small things that make make my MacBook Pro better

This post will be quite similar to the post that I did on niggles that I have with my MacBook  Pro but the opposite, I find it interesting how I could find more things that I liked about it opposed to things that I disliked about it, rather than with my other previous laptops.
So here are five small things that make my MacBook Pro better:
Magsafe Power Adapter:
This little device has saved me a repair bill, or to be correct my dad a repair bill already. The main idea is that the power adapter is magnetic, lets say if someone were to say trip over you’re wire, it would just pop out instead of dragging the laptop with it. A  very handy feature especially if you have to put up with some very clumsy people at school - and believe me, I do.
LED Backlight Screen:
The other day I was comparing my screen’s brightness to my dad’s new computers brightness. His was on full brightness and mine only half way and they were the same. Of course I didn’t tell my dad this until he had gone on a rant about how “Mac weren’t that great after all” - good times!  Anyway, lets get back to the topc at hand, Apple has boasted thirty minutes extra battery life and even brighter screens. As I haven’t had a previous MAcBook Pro I can’t say to much on improved battery life but I get just over four hours from a full charge with Wi-Fi on. I can tell you though, this screen is bright. I just turned it up from half and it maybe to bright for me :)
Sudden Motion Sensor:
Lets get what it is suppose to do out of the way shall we. The idea of the sudden motion sensor (SMS) is to lock off the hard drive immediately if it senses a very sudden motion, such as it falling of a table, this helps prevent data loss. But there are some other very cool  uses, in this case I have a small app called MacSaber which allows you to swing your MacBook Pro around with it making lightsaber noises when you make a certain motion.
Slot Loading Super Drive
I cauld imagine this saving a lot of parents hassle when their son/daughter breaks off their CD tray whe it is popped out, instead on the MacBook Pro you have a slit in the frnt of the notebook where you simply push CDs and DVD into the slot and the MacBook Pro engulfs it up and when you want to take it out there is a button on the keyboard that you press. The only question that I do have is how they do this with a Mac Pro with two Optical Drives (not slot loading).

I upgraded from an original MacBook Pro (2 GHz Core Duo). The battery life is a lot better, the screen looks a lot nicer, and it’s noticeably faster (especially when running Windows under Parallels).
