Senduit: send things

Are you ever in the situation where you need to send a file to someone quickly, and they need it quickly but you don’t want to go through the process of uploading it via an FTP and it is to big for an email? Quite often I have this problem so I went searching for a solution and I found Senduit.

Senduit is a nifty little service from the same guys who came up with Tumblr. Some talk about how less is more, how you can beat the competition by creating something that though it may have less features, but for what it does it’s great. Senduit has; no ads, no pages you have to go through to upload things. Instead the front page has an incredibly simple interface letting you choose the file, how long you want it for and then upload it - no need to go through a whole palaver. In fact you don’t even have to sign up for anything!

You are, however, limited to 100MB which is actually pretty good when you compare it with a service like Pownce where you have to pay for that amount of storage. though it does not come anywhere close, disk space wise, to a service like Yousendit.

All you have to do is select the file you want, then choose how long you want it one their servers; you can choose between half an hour and a week and then you hit the upload button and it produces a URL (e.g.http://www.senduit.com/a random string of letters and numbers) for you to give people to download the file.

Senduit manages to do what many other services do with the one difference, being its ease of use. However that said there is still a space in the world for other sites with premium pay for services and no limit on server usage.
